This is a 19th-century (1886) color lithograph with German text from "Gotthilf Heinrich von Schubert's Natural History." This is an actual page that has been removed from the book. There are chips missing from the page edges and the paper is discolored, both of which provide a nice patina and add to the primitive charm!
